Beyond creating the Matterport 3D Virtual Tour we can use the systems “Walk Through” feature to generate a video tour of the space to which we can add titles, text, effects and still images to create a stand alone video tour of the space. This is a much more cost effective way to create a video of the space rather than the more traditional method of shooting and editing afterwards. The examples below demonstrate what can be achieved by capturing the 3D walk through.
Billy Mumford Gallery Video
This video was created from a Matterport Virtual 3D Tour of the Billy Mumford Gallery in Bridport, Dorset. The Gallery contains the works of Billy Mumford who is a famous celebrity art forger. Billy still paints every day and you can buy copies of work by famous artists to hang on your wall that come with a certificate stating that they are forgeries.
A G Down Video
This video was created from a 3D Virtual Tour of A G Down’s building in South Street, Bridport. The tour and video were created to demonstrate that there was a lot more to the building than just a small shop front. The video showcases the service room and catering facilities that can be hired for other functions as well as funerals.
